About Systematic

Systematic raiding guild on the Turalyon Server. Our focus is progression while having fun & making a comfortable raid enviorment for our members. If you are interested in becoming part of us fill free to fill out an Application.

Raid Times & Days are:

Tuesday-Thursday.

7:45PM - 11 PM Server.

Selected Classes are open, See left panel.

All members are expected to act as adults and to moderate their behavior to a degree. By this, we mean don't blow up at guildmates and don't complain to guildmates about situations you can correct yourself (such as items, gold, or groups). Be constructive and reasonable in any concerns or criticisms and address them in private or keep them to yourself. Be respectful of your fellow guild members. Keep serious race/creed issues out of guild chat, raid chat, or Ventrilo.

Application Process

In order to join Systematic as a recruit you must first submit an application for membership. You do this by first gaining access to the website and registering on this forum, then filling out an application. The application will be reviewed and a reply will be made in the Applications forum with comments or further instructions. Your class advisor or other assigned sponsor is your primary link between Systematic and yourself during your application process. Any questions you have can be answered by this person. In the event they are not online, you can ask another member of your class anything you would normally ask your class leader.

At this point you are a potential member of Systematic and may be invited to the guild with the rank of intiate. A intiate is not guaranteed any loot. However, it is still possible for intiates to receive loot that none of our raiders need.

Loot Priority

Currently, Systematic is using EPGP to determine loot priority. We award EP based on attendance with the goal of having the best-equipped raid that we can have. We use a base GP of 500 and decay 3% before each raid. Raiders who are below the 5000 EP minimum will have a lower loot priority than those above the EP minimum. The raid leader reserves the right to deny any loot that is clearly not a raiding upgrade.

At invite time, the raid leader will send one invite every officer, raider and recruit in the guild. Accepting that invite does not guarantee you a raid slot, but every person who accepts that first invite will be awarded 100 EP. After that, we will continue to build the raid. We may need to drop people from the group. Please don't be offended if you are asked to sit. Stay online as a backup and you will continue to receive EP awards.

As soon as we know where we are going, the raid leader will announce the instance in a raid warning. Ten minutes after the announcement, if every person in groups 1-5 are within buff range of the raid leader and respond to the ready check, a 50 EP bonus will be awarded to everyone in the raid and on standby. The award will be announced in gchat and the people on standby can whisper the raid leader "ep" to claim their awards. You can whisper either from a main or from an alt. Either way, your main will be credited with the points.

During farm content, we will award 100 EP after each boss kill to every member of the raid, and to every raider and recruit on standby. The award will be announced in gchat. People on standby can whisper the raid leader to be automatically credited.

During learning content, 50 EP will be awarded for every 20 minutes of attempts. These awards will be announced in gchat, and the people on standby can whisper the raid leader to claim their award.

If the raid is ahead of schedule, the raid leader may give the raid a short break. The raid leader will announce a time to be back. If every person in groups 1-5 are within buff range of the raid leader and respond to the ready check, a 50 EP bonus will be awarded to everyone in the raid and on standby.

If the raid leader decides to move the raid to another instance, the raid will have ten minutes to get to the new instance. If every person in groups 1-5 are within buff range of the raid leader and respond to the ready check, a 50 EP bonus will be awarded to everyone in the raid and on standby.

Loot

All raiders and recruits are expected to know where each of their upgrades drop and be prepared to ask for those upgrades where appropriate. Planning an upgrade path is part of knowing your class. We won't stand around and wait for someone who doesn't know his class to compare items.

Epic boss loot will be linked in a raid warning by the loot master. If you want the item for a raiding upgrade, you should whisper "Need" to the loot master. If you want the item for offspec, whisper "Greed" to the loot master. The item will be awarded to the person with the highest priority, over the 5000 EP minimum, who whispered "Need." In the event that nobody who typed "Need" was over the EP minimum, the item will be awarded to the person with the highest priority who typed "Need." If nobody whispered "Need," the item will be awarded to the person with the highest priority, over the 5000 EP minimum, who typed "Greed." In the event that nobody typed "Need" and nobdy over the EP minimum typed "Greed," the item will be awarded to the person with the highest priority who typed "Greed." People who are awarded items for "Need" will be credited with the full GP value of the item. People who are awarded an item for "Greed" will be credited with 10% of the GP value of the item. In the event that only one person typed "Need" and nobody typed "Greed," the item will be awarded for 10% of its GP value. Tier items will credited full GP value regardless of wether or not it's for main or offspec.

Everyone will always pass on all trash drops. When epic gear or BoP patterns drop, they will be treated exactly the same as epic boss loot.

Legendary items are subject to loot council rules. Items of legendary quality will be awarded to the raider who is deemed most worthy, based on senority, attendance and performance, as determined by the officers who are present. Raiders who are awarded a legendary item will be credited with the full GP value of the item. Vanity items (mounts, for example) will be rolled for. You must have a rank of Raider or higher, and you must have at least 10,000 EP to eligible to roll on vanity items. Players who meet these criteria and win the roll will be awarded the item and will be credited with the full GP value of the item. If the item has not been assigned a GP value by the EPGP system, the item will have a GP value equal to the highest tier-level helmet currently available in the game.

Attendance

Every raider and recruit of Systematic is required to attend all scheduled raid events. Members with poor raid attendance will have a lower loot priority than members with good raid attendance. Members with excessively low attendance will be reviewed and demoted or removed from the guild.

If you know that you will be unable to attend a raid, we ask that you let us know in advance by posting in the sticky thread, "AFK for RL" in our Member forums. This will help us with our planning. However, while we understand that real life is more important than a game, excuses don't fill raid slots. The rest of us still want to play. If you make a habit of excusing yourself from raid, we may have to recruit a replacement so that we can go on.

Sitting Out of Raids

At times you may be available to raid but there may not be sufficient room in the raid group or you may be asked to step out of a raid. We ask that you remain logged in on your character within close proximity to the instance entrance (No more than a few minutes travel away) -or- logout your character at the instance entrance and play on a guilded alternate character. In any case, try to stay on the Ventrilo raid channel. The faster we can make substitutions, the faster we can progress. Please help us by being available as much as you can.

Alts

You are enouraged to keep your alternate characters in the guild. This will make it easier for you to claim EP awards while playing your alt, and it will make it easier for us to find you when we need a replacement for raids.

We will rarely invite an alternate character to raids. In the event that you are asked to bring your alternate character to a raid, that character will share the same EPGP as your main. In other words, EP and GP are credited to the player, not the character.

Respecs

Unless otherwise asked, you must come to raid with a talent specification appropriate for the job that you were recruited for. For example, if we expect you to be holy, don't arrive for raid as shadow. Never show up for raid with a PvP spec. All Raiders must show up in the proper main spec and ready, Also must have proper gear for secondary spec and knowledge of that spec.

If you want to change your spec permanently, you must obtain permission from the guild master. If it is in the guild's best interest to have you respec, you will incur no penalty. If it is not in the guild's best interest for you to respec, you may be asked to reapply to the guild with your proposed spec, and if accepted, you may lose all of your accumulated EP and GP.
